Exchange in Doctoral Programmes

Application Process for Incoming PhD Candidates on Exchange

Step 1:

We consider if the PhD project fits into the University of Applied Arts Vienna. This includes the motivation and the language skills of applicants as well as the availability of study places and possible guest-supervisors. The selection process does not include a judgement on the artistic-scientific value of your work. The decision upon applications lies with the coordinators of our doctoral programmes at Zentrum Fokus Forschung.

There is no specific deadline for an application for our PhD-exchange, but we expect you to apply at least three months before the beginning of the next semester. Please apply via email to Wiebke Miljes, zff@uni-ak.ac.at.
