Support for project-based artistic and scientific work.
We facilitate and support the process of turning ideas into plans, plans into projects, and projects into positions in the field. To make possible what is possible.
A comprehensive level of coordination for administrative support in the sense of and in addition to planning, service and administration at the University of Applied Arts. A focus is placed on the research work of colleagues in the projects and the experts at the University of Applied Arts. The aim is to keep frictional losses as low as possible and the leeway for producing productivity-relevant values as large as possible.
We support with advice on content, administration, financial and conceptual aspects, and the provision of expert feedback. In addition to the University of Applied Arts Vienna and ARTist (the university‘s graduate association), other funding bodies include the Austrian Science Fund (FWF), the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), EU programs, the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW), the City of Vienna, and the Federal Chancellery, Section for the Arts (BKA-Kunst).
We coordinate infrastructure for research and offer assistance in personnel and financial matters, introduce collaborations to the Angewandte and its projects. We support colleagues in disseminating, documenting and sharing processes and results, both within and beyond specific communities. To this end, the ZFF offers programme tracks, provides and constantly develops digital formats and promotes national and international exchange on an individual and institutional level.
